Executive Summary

Architecture strategy that ships as product

As Technical Director at Comviva, I own the frontend architecture strategy for large-scale enterprise platforms — scalable application structures, governance, and the engineering standards that keep multiple cross-functional teams shipping consistently on React and Next.js.

My path spans 15+ years and every major shift in the web’s evolution — from ASP.NET through KnockoutJS to modern React ecosystems. That perspective is the job: knowing which patterns survive scale, which migrations pay for themselves, and how to keep a platform fast while the organization around it grows.

Today my focus is making engineering organizations AI-native — evaluating and integrating AI productivity tools, automating routine engineering work, and building agentic pipelines that accelerate delivery cycles without trading away quality.

Technical Arsenal

Depth where it compounds

AI-Driven Engineering

Embedding generative AI into the frontend lifecycle: agentic coding workflows, AI-assisted reviews, routine-task automation — and the governance to adopt all of it safely across an organization.

  • Anthropic Claude
  • Agentic workflows
  • AI productivity tooling
  • Adoption governance

Frameworks & Core Ecosystems

Enterprise React and Next.js at scale, built on JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals that predate the frameworks.

  • React
  • Next.js
  • TypeScript
  • Node.js

Architecture Practices

Scalable application structures, deliberate state management, server-side rendering, and performance treated as a budget — not an afterthought.

  • SSR / ISR
  • State management
  • Micro-frontend patterns
  • Web performance
  • Security

Design Systems & Styling

Token-driven design systems and component architectures that keep large products visually consistent without slowing teams down.

  • Tailwind CSS
  • Design tokens
  • Component-driven UI
  • Accessibility

Build, Tooling & Delivery

The pipeline as a product: fast builds, automated review gates, and CI/CD that makes quality the default path.

  • Monorepos
  • Webpack / Vite
  • CI/CD
  • Review automation

Problems, decisions, outcomes

Making an engineering org AI-native

Technical Director · AI Transformation

Challenge

Deliver faster at enterprise scale without trading away quality — while AI tooling matured faster than teams could evaluate it.

Architectural approach

Drove evaluation and integration of AI productivity tools across the organization: agentic coding workflows, automation of routine engineering tasks, and adoption guardrails so speed and quality scaled together.

Impact

  • Accelerated delivery cycles across engineering teams
  • Routine work automated — attention shifted to design and edge cases
  • AI-assisted development as standard practice, not an experiment

UI architecture for enterprise telecom platforms

Comviva · Architecture & Governance

Challenge

Large-scale enterprise applications, multiple cross-functional teams — and no single source of truth for how frontend should be built, reviewed, or shipped.

Architectural approach

Defined the UI architecture strategy end to end: scalable application structures, coding standards for the React and Next.js ecosystem, review workflows, and CI/CD quality gates adopted across teams.

Impact

  • One architecture standard shared by every team
  • Production stability owned through release planning and review discipline
  • Faster onboarding — the structure explains itself

Leadership & Methodology

Multiplying engineers, not just shipping code

Code with Clarity

My teaching initiative: JavaScript and React workshops that take developers past syntax into how things actually work — from closures to rendering models — so they code with understanding, not recipes.

Governance & Standards

Coding standards, architectural reviews, and review workflows that make the right way the easy way. Governance that developers experience as clarity, not bureaucracy.

People Growth

Mentoring and appraisals treated with engineering rigor: clear growth paths, honest feedback, and senior developers grown into leads who set standards of their own.

Product-Driven Execution

Close collaboration with product, UX, and backend — technical roadmaps that exist to serve business outcomes, with delivery ownership from release planning to production stability.
